Open Government meetup
The Open Government meetup is an informal citizen-driven organization that takes the open government movement outside institutional walls and into the community. It is sponsored in part by the iYear Foundation, which has provided resources and organizational capacity to get the ball rolling.
The Open Government NYC meetup first met in Manhattan in March of 2009. To join the meetup, please visit their meetup.com site. To become involved in planning the meetup, and to stay on top of the group’s many innovative projects, join the Open Gov NYC Google Group.
